Health Risks of PFAS

PFAS chemicals are incredibly persistent in the environment and human body, leading to their nickname as “forever chemicals.” They have been linked to severe health issues, including:

Following the evaluation, the European Commission and EU Member States will decide on the potential restriction.

1. HIGH PRODUCTION ACCURACY
   The processing standard of Z2 filters is characterized by the retention of dimensional accuracy, perpendicular and streamlined contours. It is superior to the traditional filters with heavy and precarious metal frames, that have high leakage rates and dimensional inaccuracy, which causes risk of unwanted cuts and injuries while maintenance.
2. SECURE FILTRATION
   The application of a leak-proof hot-melt bond, allows to maintain maximum sealing between filter media and frame. As a result – the pollutants within the airstream, access the filter border areas without bypassing unfiltered air. A high level of filtration efficiency is guaranteed for demanding filtration applications starting at G4 up to F9 EN779 or from Coarse to ePM 1, ISO16890 respectively.
3. OPTIMIZED PLEATING GEOMETRY
   A significant feature of the TG Z2 panel filters is the high level of uniformity and accessibility of the filter media. The sharp V-shaped pleating structure enables a maximum depth effect. The hot-melt pleating system allows to even the filtration material with a favorable differential pressure drop characteristics and a longer filter service life.
4. HIGHEST ENVIRONMENTAL COMPATIBILITY
   All components of the Z2 filters are free of binding agents, solvents or coloring agents. The materials in use contain recycled content, to lower the production CO2 emissions. The Z2 lightweight design also enables lower emissions during transportation. Unlike the conventional filters, the SYNTHETIC design is completely absolute of metal parts and glass-fiber components, which also limit environmental capability.

Back in 2006 – industrial technology specialists, enthusiastic engineers started the first industrial ventilation, painting and pneumatic transport technology installation projects in the Lithuanian metal & wood industries. A small lead by an ambitious vision – demonstrating exemplary business practices, were left not unnoticed – the company grew successfully, as well as the project scope – we are glad to have had the opportunity to contribute to the modernization projects, new equipment & process installations for Lithuania’s strongest industries.

In 2008, UAB TECHNOGAJA started to produce the first Lithuanian air filters for industrial ventilation systems used in maintenance. The company’s products quickly became recognized in the domestic market. From 2012, the first foundations for the export sales were laid. UAB Technogaja participates as a partner from 2014 to 2020 in the project co-financed by the European Union Structural Funds “Training of employees of small and medium-sized enterprises in the form of apprenticeship for in-service training” No. 09.4.3-ESFA-K-827-04-0053. The project is implemented in accordance with the 2014-2020 “Apprenticeship and qualification improvement in the workplace” of the European Union Funds Investment Operational Program Priority 9 “Public Education and Increasing Human Resources Potential”.

Project goal: To ensure continuous maintenance of the qualification level of employees of engineering industry companies.

Project implementation duration: 24 months (December 2020 – December 2022).

The project is implemented by UAB Stigma together with partners – 13 small and medium-sized engineering companies: UAB Arginta Engineering, UAB 3D Creative, UAB BALTLED, UAB Baltic Cranes Logistics, UAB BALTIC CRANES ENGINEERING, UAB Entech Group, UAB Jutrix, UAB KEMEK ENGINEERING, UAB POLITECA, UAB ŠVYTĖJIMAS, UAB TECHRANGA, UAB Vilpros pramonėsė, UAB Technogaja. During the project, 261 employees of these companies will improve their qualifications in the workplace.

The implementation of the project will enable the employees of the companies to improve their qualifications and abilities to apply their practical knowledge in such a way that they can perform their job functions in a technologically high-quality and correct manner, and the performance results will meet the set deadlines.

Project value: 530821.11 Eur, of which the EU support for the project implementation is 265410.56 Eur.

UAB Technogaja performs technological / digitization audits regularly every two years, the audit is performed by LINPRA technology center Intechcentras. During the audit, we take the received recommendations very responsibly. Over the past two years, Technogaja has made significant improvements in the areas of IT deployment, human resources, strategic 4.0 management and leadership. Summarizing 2018 and 2020. audits show that the company’s digital maturity has increased by 20%!

Technogaja UAB together with LINPRA last week looked for cooperation with tailors to combine respiratory technology, raw materials and forces. The same opportunities were sought by UAB “Robert Kalinkin” with the help of Kaunas University of Technology – a partnership was established. UAB “Robert Kalinkin” has developed and tested the prototype of the mask, while UAB “Technogaja” will make improvements and provide raw materials. The project will be financed and the costs of raw materials will be covered by the fund established by Andrius Tapinas Laisvės TV.

Technogaja CEO Ramūnas Katkevičius reports that the project started last week has been confirmed and the production of protective masks will start soon:

“The masks will be developed with Robert Kalinkin. We will provide technology and human resources as well as very high quality air filtration raw materials widely used in hospital, laboratory air ventilation systems, combining professionals and their knowledge, we expect to supply more than 60,000 pcs of precut materials for protective mask production in the very near future. We also planned that we would not ship raw materials to foreign countries for some time until we fully satisfied Lithuania’s needs. ”

According to Robert Kalinkin, in this state of emergency, where special raw materials are simply lacking or even non-existent, we have to resort to non-standard solutions: “We started working with UAB Technogaja. The owners of the company were surprisingly willing to contribute to our idea, they agreed to stop selling these raw materials outside Lithuania and gave us the maximum amount of fabrics for this purpose. I am extremely grateful for the willingness to help by interrupting day to day business and refocusing on the needs of the country.
